In this meeting, the committee discussed the serious issues highlighted by the Judicial Service Commission in the committee meeting held with the Commission. The members of the committee discussed the issues of the influence the Commission was facing from certain people and government institutions, and the issues raised by the Commission regarding its ongoing investigations and completed investigations. The majority of the Committee decided to send a report to the parliament regarding these issues.
