Discussed and approved the 11 non-resident ambassador forwarded by President as per Article 115 (L) of Constitution of the Maldives . The approved non-resident ambassadorships are:- 1. Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Omar Abdul Razzaq, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to Seychelles, Mauritius and Kazakhstan 2. Ambassador to India, Aishath Mohamed Didi, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to Afghanistan and Bhutan 3. Ambassador to Malaysia, Visam Ali, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to Brunei and Indonesia 4. Ambassador to Singapore, Abdulla Mausoom, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand 5. Ambassador to Japan, Ibrahim Uvais, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to South Korea 6. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mohamed Haleem, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to Kuwait and Jordan 7. Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Dr Hussain Niyaz, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to Oman and Bahrain 8. Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Dr Farahanaz Faisal, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to France and Spain 9. Ambassador to the European Union and Belgium, Hassan Sobir, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to the Netherlands and Luxembourg 10. Ambassador to Germany, Ahmed Latheef, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia 11. Ambassador to the United Nations and United States of America, Thilmeeza Hussain, to be appointed as Non-Resident Ambassador to Canada (The 11 ambassadors were previously approved for ambassadorship by the parliament as well)
