The agenda for today's meeting is to elect the Chairperson and the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee. Director, Legal Affairs, Afzaal AbdulSattar conducted the appointment of the Chairperson and the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee.

Thinadhoo North MP Saudullah Hilmy proposed the name of South Feydhoo MP Ibrahim Didi. Isdhoo MP Ismail Shafiu seconded by the proposal

Feydhoo South MP Ibrahim Didi was unanimously elected as the chair of the committee with a vote of 11 members

Meanwhile, Feydhoo South MP Ibrahim Didi proposed the name of Thinadhoo North MP Saudullah Hilmy as deputy chair.

Isdhoo MP Ismail Shafiu seconded by the proposal. With the vote of 11 members, Thinadhoo North MP Saudullah Hilmy was unanimously elected as the deputy chair of the committee.
