In today’s meeting appointment of the Committee Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Committee was scheduled as the newly elected members were allocated to the committees in the 2^nd sitting of the 20^th Majlis.

Director Legal Affairs, Aishath Shifa presided over the selection process of the Committee’s Chairperson and Vice Chairperson.

West Maafannu Constituency Member Mohamed Musthafa Ibrahim proposed to elect Central Maafannu Member Asma Rasheed as the Chairperson of the Committee. It was seconded by Addu Meedhoo Constituency Member Abdul Rahman. Below are the voting details of the appointment.
