In today’s Meeting committee discussed the issue regarding Tax Appeal Tribunal which was sent by an individual from the public. Committee decided to meet with the Registrar of Tax Appeal Tribunal for further information on this issue. This was proposed by Faresmaathoda Constituency Member Ashraf Rasheed and seconded by Holhudhoo Constituency Member AbduSattar Mohamed. Next Committee discussed the Act No (9/2014) Penal Code Amendment Bill sent to Committee from Floor. Committee set a Deadline for the Bill as 5th August 2024.
It was also decided in today's meeting that an announcement for public comments on the bill should be given for 5 days starting today.
