Committee Meeting - People's Majlis of Maldives

Summary

In today’s meeting, the committee was scheduled to meet with the Ministry of Housing, Land and Urban Development regarding the petition seeking not to cancel the gazette list of flat owners published by the previous government under the Gedhoruveriya Scheme. The Ministry sent the following names to attend the meeting.

Dr Ali Haidar Ahmed - Minister

Ibrahim Nizam - Minister of State

Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed - Permanent Secretary

Uza. Aishath Shihab - Legal Officer

However, during the meeting hours the Ministry informed that they were unable to attend today’s meeting and requested to postpone the meeting to a later date. After a lengthy discussion, committee members concluded unanimously to arrange the meeting on a date feasible to the Minister.
