In this meeting, the details of the loan agreement of 40 million USD with Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) under "Line of Finance to Support the Establishment of an SME impact Fund in the Maldives" received from Ministry of Finance and Quarterly Report of Auditor General’s Office of 4^th quarter for the year 2023 was shared with the members.

After that, the members discussed an issue regarding the salary of the Children's Ombudsperson received from the Children's Ombudsperson's Office. Dhiggaru Constituency member Ahmed Nazim proposed to inform them that the committee will take the issues highlighted into consideration when the committee commences work on the review of the salary structure. It was seconded by Central Hithadhoo Contituency member Ahmed Azaan Marzooq.

Furthermore, the committee discussed a review report received from Anti-Corruption Commission regarding strengthening of the Asset Recovery Process. Baarashu Constituency member Ibrahim Shujau proposed to forward this report to Attorney General’s Office and request to consider the matters highlighted in the report while working on the amendments to the acts mentioned in the report and while drafting the Asset Recovery bill. It was seconded by Central Hithadhoo Contituency member Ahmed Azaan Marzooq.
