Summary
Today the committee summoned, Maldives Police Service and Communications Authority of Maldives, regarding State-Owned Enterprises Committee’ report no. M19/SOE/2023/01 (The issue of withdrawal of money from the accounts of Bank of Maldives customers without the knowledge of the owners of the accounts), to identify the challenges faced by the authorities in implementing the recommendations of the report.
Furthermore, the committee decided to meet with Road Development Corporation regarding previous management’s corruption issues and action taken by the new management to mitigate those risks.
