This was followed by discussions and decisions on those to be summoned for clarification while proceeding with the resolution moved by Baarashu Constituency Member Ibrahim Shujau to determine the views of the 20th Majlis on the increasing number of members of parliament every five years. The committee decided on holding discussion meetings with the members of the Policy Section of the President's Office, members of the Special Parliament Drafting Committee, which worked on the Constitution, Political Parties and organizations, especially Transparency Maldives.
Lastly, the committee met with the members of the Civil Service Commission to discuss its functioning. During the meeting, they were briefed about the problems faced by the commission in running the commission and performing its duties.
