Summary
Today's meeting was held to discuss with the members of the Election Commission, the resolution submitted by Baarashu Constituency Member Ibrahim Shujau to understand the views of the 20th Majlis regarding the increasing number of members of the parliament every five years.
The committee was briefed on how the members of the Election Commission view the resolution and proposed their solutions to the matter. Additionally, the Commission members also shared some of the rules and standards that are considered for the selection of electoral constituencies in some countries of the world.
