In today’s meeting, the committee continued the amendment work of the Standing Order of People’s Majlis and started reviewing from clause number 67 to Chapter 27 of the Standing Order, till the Article on General Purpose Committee.

Following are the amendments brought:

1.     To pass the amendment proposed to clause number 67 as recommended by the Counsel General.

South Feydhoo Constituency Member Ibrahim Didi proposed to pass the changes brought by the committee. This was seconded by Kanditheemu Constituency Member Ameen Faisal, and was passed unanimously.

2.     To pass the amendment proposed to clause number 69 as recommended by the Counsel General.

South Feydhoo Constituency Member Ibrahim Didi proposed to pass the changes brought by the committee. This was seconded by Dhuvaafaru Constituency Member Mohamed Ali, and was passed unanimously.

3.     To pass the amendment proposed to clause number 81 (i) as recommended by the Counsel General.

Maafushi Constituency Member Hussain Riza Adam proposed to pass the changes brought by the committee. This was seconded by Dhuvaafaru Constituency Member Mohamed Ali, and was passed unanimously.

4.     To pass the amendment proposed to clause number 81 (l) as recommended by the Counsel General.

South Feydhoo Constituency Member Ibrahim Didi proposed to pass the changes brought by the committee. This was seconded by Dhuvaafaru Constituency Member Mohamed Ali, and was passed unanimously.

5.     To pass the amendment proposed to clause number 81 (g) as recommended by the Counsel General.
