Summary
In today’s meeting, the committee continued the amendment work of the Standing Order of People’s Majlis and started reviewing from clause number 109 to clause number 123 of the Standing Order.
Following are the amendments brought:
1. To pass the amendment proposed to clause number 109 (e) as recommended by the Counsel General.
Isdhoo Constituency Member Ismail Shafeeu proposed to pass the changes brought by the committee. This was seconded by Alifushi Constituency Member Abdul Latheef Abdul Rahman, and was passed unanimously.
2. To pass the removal of clause number 113 (f) as recommended by the Counsel General.
Isdhoo Constituency Member Ismail Shafeeu proposed to pass the changes brought by the committee. This was seconded by Alifushi Constituency Member Abdul Latheef Abdul Rahman, and was passed unanimously.
3. To pass the amendment proposed to clause number 114 as recommended by the Counsel General.
Isdhoo Constituency Member Ismail Shafeeu proposed to pass the changes brought by the committee. This was seconded by Thulhaadhoo Constituency Member Abdul Hannan Aboobakuru, and was passed unanimously.
4. To pass the amendment proposed to clause number 115 (a) and (b) as recommended by the Counsel General.

5. To pass the amendment proposed from clause number 116 till clause number 123 as recommended by the Counsel General.
