Committee’s Agenda for today’s meeting was to meet with Tax Appeal Tribunal Members regarding the issue sent by an individual from the public.
The purpose of this meeting was to question the members of the Tribunal about the issues submitted to the Committee about the Tribunal. For the purposes of this meeting, the committee had decided to meet with the President and the Deputy President of the Tribunal separately, and to meet with the other 3 members afterwards. Therefore, it was proposed by Member of South Hithadhoo Constituency Ibrahim Naazil that the Committee should delay streaming the audio of the meeting on YouTube till the Committee is done with questioning all the members of the Tribunal. This proposal was seconded by Member of Kurendhoo Constituency Shamin Habeeb.
