Summary


In today’s meeting, the committee discussed and amended the provisions of Health Services Act (Law No. 29/2015) amendment bill.

 

  1. West Maafannu Constituency Member Mohamed Musthafa Ibrahim proposed to amend section 5-1 (c) (1) of the Bill. It was seconded by Nilandhoo Constituency Member Fathimath Saudha. This motion was passed unanimously by the committee members present at the time.
  2. Dhaandhoo Constituency Member Mohamed Fazeel proposed to remove section 10-1 (b) from the Bill. It was seconded by North Galolhu Constituency Member Mohamed Ibrahim. This motion was passed unanimously by the committee members present at the time.
  3. West Maafannu Constituency Member Mohamed Musthafa Ibrahim proposed to meet with representatives of the Ministry of Health and Attorney General’s Office in order to discuss regarding the bill. It was seconded by Nilandhoo Constituency Member Fathimath Saudha. This motion was passed unanimously by the committee members present at the time.
