The committee chair decided to postpone the review of information regarding previous managements corruption issues and action taken by the new management to mitigate those risks to next week, along with the information provided by Anti-Corruption Commission on the matters related to state-owned enterprises and actions to be taken to strengthen the positions of those companies
Then the committee decided to provide the obtained information from meetings conducted regarding the issue submitted by North Galolhu Constituency Member Mohamed Ibrahim, to identify the challenges faced by the authorities in implementing the recommendations of the State-Owned Enterprises Committee’ report no. M19/SOE/2023/01 (The issue of withdrawal of money from Bank of Maldives customers account without the knowledge of them), to the member.
Next, the committee decided to send State Trading Organization’s annual report of the year 2023 and the information sent by Road Development Corporation, to the relevant sub-committees for the purpose of review.
