Summary
In today’s meeting, committee discussed the matter sent to committee regarding the motion on removal of Prosecutor General Uz. Hussain Shameem on the matter in accordance with Section 232(sh) of the Standing order.
Regarding this issue, Committee decided its important to request for documents in writing regarding the allegations against prosecutor general, before meeting with the prosecutor general. This was proposed by Central Fuvahmulak Constituency Member Ali Fazad and seconded by Huraa Constituency Member Dr. Anara Naeem.
