Summary

 

In today’s meeting, Committee discussed the issue on appointment of Tax Appeal Tribunal Members and Since the department of judicial administration has not sent a reply regarding clearing the records, committee discussed on how to proceed with the interviews for the candidates.

Holhudhoo Constituency Member Abdulsattar Mohamed proposed that the committee should go ahead with the records sent from president’s office since this deadline for the appointment of the members of tax appeal tribunal is yet to expire soon. Central Fuvahmulak Constituency Member seconded this proposal.

 

 

After interviewing 13 candidates, committee awarded 7 candidates in average above 75%. Therefore committee proposed these candidates are competent and experience for the post, hence to pass the name and send to Majlis floor for further consideration.
