Summary
In this meeting, the committee sat with the officials from Ministry of Finance to discuss the government’s plan to increase the earnings and reduce the government expenses. The minister highlighted that some of the main steps to be taken to moderate the government expenditures include revision of the salaries, establishing a centralized procurement system to reduce the leakage in the procurement process, and reform of the state-owned enterprises.
