Committee Meeting - People's Majlis of Maldives

Summary

First item on today’s agenda was to meet a team from the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy regarding the waste management project funded by the Asian Development Fund (ADB). The team from the Minister of Climate Change, Environment and Energy shared the progress of that project and the challenges they face in waste management.

They also answered members questions about this project and about other ongoing project in waste management.

Even though the committee had working quorum, there was no voting quorum. So, the committee chairman decided to postpone other items on the agenda for the next meeting and concluded today’s meeting.
