State-Owned Enterprises Committee's 10th meeting for the year 2024

Summary

The committee chair decided to postpone the review of the progress of the works carried out by the sub-committees and review the following two issues referred to the committee by North Galolhu Constituency Member Mohamed Ibrahim.

1.  Delays in the project awarded to a Korean company, Hanbo Company Limited, for the construction of a mixed-use residential complex named K-Park Residence; and

2.  To clarify from STO the reason for the difficulty in obtaining stock of cancer drugs.


South Feydhoo Constituency Member Ibrahim Didi proposed to obtain latest update from Housing Development Corporation regarding the project awarded to a Korean company, Hanbo Company Limited, for the construction of a mixed-use residential complex named K-Park Residence and to clarify from STO the reason for the difficulty in obtaining stock of cancer drugs. Faresmaathodaa Constituency Member Ashraf Rasheed seconded the proposal and was passed by the committee unanimously.


In addition, Maavashu Constituency Member Ahmed Shakir proposed to obtain information from Housing Development Corporation regarding delays in the project named “The Garden” being carried out by Jaah Investments in Huhumale. Thoddoo Constituency Member Hussain Sameer seconded the proposal and was passed by the committee unanimously.
