Summary
First item on today’s agenda was to meet a team from the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) regarding the issue of individuals and companies not paying environment related fines. The team from the the AGO shared the process they follow to retrieve these fines and the challenges they face.
They also answered members questions on possible reasons for non-payment.
Since the committee of the whole house was about to start the chairman decided to conclude the meeting and asked the team from the AG office to submit answers to the chairman’s questions in writing.
