Summary
In today’s meeting, the Committee met with Attorney General’s Office, Prosecutor General’s Office and Maldives Police Service regarding the Bill on Amendment to the Penal Code (Act no. 9/2014), Bill of Amendment Mutual Legal Assistance Act (Act no. 2/2015) and the two amendment bills on the Criminal Procedure Code. The Committee discussed the amendments brought by the committee while reviewing the bills, and the comments and amendments submitted by the Attorney General’s Office.
