Summary
In today’s meeting, the committee reviewed the petition objecting to the decision of the Council on giving the north coast of B.Kudarikilu to build guest houses.
Henceforth, in accordance with the information acquired from the Local Government Authority and Ministry of Cities Local Government and Public works, Dhihdhoo constituency member Abdul Latheef Mohamed proposed to request B. Kudarikilu council to review the land use plan of the island to address the concerns of the islanders and to send the said information to the committee before 31st December 2024. This was seconded by Madaveli constituency member Mohamed Shameez and was passed unanimously.
