Summary
In today’s meeting, the Committee reviewed the 2 amendment bills on the Criminal Procedure Code.
First, the Committee continued its work on reviewing the Amendment Bill on the Criminal Procedure Code sponsored by MP Husni Mubarik of Manadhoo Constituency from Section 10 of the bill. The Committee reviewed, and amended sections of the bill as per the comments received by the Committee from relevant authorities.
Then the Committee reviewed the second amendment bill on the Criminal Procedure Code sponsored by MP Mohamed Ibrahim of North Galolhu Constituency. The Committee reviewed and amended the bill as per the comments received by the Attorney General’s Office.
