Summary
At this meeting, in accordance with Article 8 (a) of Law No. 2006/6 (Human Rights Commission Act), the matter submitted by the President regarding the appointment of the Vice President of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives was reviewed.
The Committee approved to recommend to the People's Majlis to consent to the appointment of Commission's Member Ms. Moomina Waheed, as Vice President of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives, as proposed by the President.
