Today, the committee discussed the issue of appointing a member to Anti-corruption commission sent by the president. Once the chairman opened the floor, West Henveru constituency member Ali Ibrahim proposed the following; Setting the deadline as 20th of January 2025, to form an administrative panel of three employees as per the Standing Order of the People’s Majlis to examine the eligibility of the candidates, with the nominees being Uza. Shahzadh Saeed (Legal Officer), Aishath Rifa (Senior Officer) and Fathimath Nadha (Senior Committee Officer), to open for public comments till 11:30 am 20th January 2025 (today), and to interview the candidates nominated by the president at 11:30 am on 20th January 2025. It was seconded by North Hithadhoo constituency member Mohamed Sinan.
