1. North Kulhudhuffushi Constituency Member Mohamed Dawoodh proposed to appoint the ambassador to the United Kingdom Ms. Iruthisham Adam, H.Orchid, as the permanent representative to the International Maritime Organization. It was seconded by North Mahchangolhi Constituency Member Ibrahim Muhammad. The proposal was passed unanimously.
2. Guraidhoo Constituency Member Hanan Mohamed Rasheed proposed to appoint the ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Mr. Mohamed Hussain Shareef, M.Kothanmaage, as the permanent representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency. It was seconded by South Maafannu Constituency Member Abdulla Rifau. The proposal was passed unanimously.
3. North Mahchangolhi Constituency Member Ibrahim Muhammad proposed to appoint the permanent representative to the United Nations in Geneva Dr. Salma Rasheed, M.Villaadhashuge, as the permanent representative to the World Trade Organization. It was seconded by Hinnavaru Constituency Member Mohamed Abdul Rahman. The proposal was passed unanimously.
4. Vilingili Constituency Member Azim Abdul Azeez proposed to appoint the ambassador to the United States of America, Mr.AbdulGafoor Mohamed, Ma.Athamavilla, as the non-resident ambassador to the Canada. It was seconded by South Fuvahmulah Constituency Member Ibrahim Hussain. The proposal was passed unanimously.
5. South Fuvahmulah Constituency Member Ibrahim Hussain proposed to appoint the ambassador to the Saudi Arabia, Mr.Ahmed Sareer, M.Westside, as the non-resident ambassador to The Arab Republic of Egypt. It was seconded by Vilingili Constituency Member Azim Abdul Azeez. The proposal was passed unanimously.
6. South Maafannu Constituency Member Abdulla Rifau proposed to appoint the ambassador to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Ms. Shiuneen Rasheedh, S.Hulhudhoo/ Asareege, as the non-resident ambassador to the Kingdom of Bhutan. It was seconded by Hinnavaru Constituency Member Mohamed Abdul Rahman. The proposal was passed unanimously.
7. Hinnavaru Constituency Member Mohamed Abdul Rahman proposed to appoint the ambassador to the Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ahmed Sareer, M.Westside, as the permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Corporation. It was seconded by Guraidhoo Constituency Member Hanan Mohamed Rasheed. The proposal was passed unanimously.
8. Vaikaradhoo Constituency Member Hussain Ziyad proposed to appoint the ambassador to the Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ahmed Sareer, M.Westside, as the non-resident ambassador to the State of Kuwait. It was seconded by Maradhoo Constituency Member Ahmed Didi. The proposal was passed unanimously.
