Summary
In today's meeting, the committee reviewed the issue regarding the health insurance coverage for Parliament Members, their spouses, and children under 18 years of age, and former Parliament Members.
South Feydhoo Constituency Member Ibrahim Didi proposed to pass the issue as proposed as the committee members agreed to not bring any change in the existing standards of health insurance provided to Parliament Members, their spouses and children under the age of 18 and former Parliament Members. Additionally, he proposed to request Allied Insurance Company to improve the quality of the service, and in doing so, to introduce an insurance card for the Parliament Members to avail the insurance service. This was seconded by Holhudhoo Constituency Member Abdul Sattar Mohamed and the motion was passed unanimously by the members present and voting in the committee.
