Villingili Constituency Member Azim Abdul Azeez proposed to appoint the ambassador to Malaysia Dr. Mariyam Shabeena Ahmed, M.Ruhfushi, as the non-resident ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines. It was seconded by South Maafannu Constituency Member Abdulla Rifau. The proposal was passed unanimously.
