Summary
Today, the committee discussed the issue sent from Majlis, referred by the President to appoint a members to the Civil Service Commission. Once the chairman opened the floor, Kela constituency member Abdulla Shareef proposed the following; Setting the deadline as 9th of April 2025, to form an administrative panel of 2 employees as per the Standing Order of the People’s Majlis to examine the eligibility of the candidates, with the nominees being Uza. Shahzadh Saeed (Legal Officer) and Fathimath Nadha (Senior Committee Officer), to open for public comments till 8th April 2025 at 14:00 pm and to interview the candidates nominated by the president on 9th April 2025 at 11:00am It was seconded by Kolamaafushi constituency member Ibrahim Didi.
This proposal was passed unanimously with all members present and voting.
