Summary
In today’s meeting, Committee reviewed the issue sent to the Committee by the Supreme Court Judge, Dr. Azamiralda Zahir raising concerns stating JSC violating the code of conduct and implementing procedures unfairly.
Kendhoo MP Mauroof Zakir then proposed to further investigate the matter. Central Fuvahmulah MP Ali Fazad supported this motion and proposed to obtain written documents of the investigation as well as standard operating procedures (SOP)s adopted by the Judicial Service commission and further investigate this matter. This proposal was seconded by Faresmathoda MPAshraf Rasheed.
The proposal was unanimously passed by the members present in the committee.
