Summary
Today the committee met with relevant authorities about a case on the issue of fined individuals and companies not paying environmental damage fines. They are, Attorney General’s office, Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Environmental Protection Agency and Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.
The committee chairman opened the floor for members to extend the committee meeting time, as the meeting may go beyond the allocated time. Then, West Mafannu member Mohamed Musthafa Ibrahim proposed to extend the committee for an additional 15 minutes. It was seconded by Funadhoo Constituency member Mohamed Mamdhooh.
