Summary
In today’s meeting, Committee discussed the comments received to the committee on Serious and Organized Crimes Bill. Since the bill was already reviewed in the Committee, the committee discussed on how to proceed with the comments recieved. South Hithadhoo MP Ibrahim Nazil proposed to review the comments on this bill. North Feydhoo MP Ismail Nizar seconded this proposal.
The proposal was unanimously passed by the members present in the committee.

Committee also decided in today's meeting that an announcement for public comments on the Serious and Organized Crimes Bill and for the comments from the relevant authorities should be given until 21 August 2025, 12pm.
