Summary

In today's meeting, in accordance with Article 6(3) of Law No. 6/81 (Maldives Monetary Authority Act 1981), the committee reviewed the matter forwarded by the President regarding the appointment of Aishath Asna Hamdhee of G.Silverge aage as Deputy Governor of the Maldives Monetary Authority.


Then the committee decided 7th May 2025 as the deadline to complete the above-mentioned work, as proposed by Baarashu constituency member Ibrahim Shujau and seconded by Funadhoo constituency member Mohamed Mamdooh. This proposal was passed unanimously by members present at time of vote.


It was decided to assign the committee's secretariat to carry out the necessary administrative work to verify whether Aishath Asna Hamdhee of G.Silverge aage, meets the qualifications for the position of Deputy Governor of the Maldives Monetary Authority, as proposed Baarashu constituency member Ibrahim Shujau and seconded by Funadhoo constituency member Mohamed Mamdooh.
