Summary
In today’s meeting, the committee reviewed the issue sent to allocate the time length given to the Parliament members and the time length given for defense of the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Mr. Mohamed Ameen in the debate on the no-confidence motion submitted at the Parliament.
After the discussion, South Feydhoo Constituency Member Ibrahim Didi proposed from the total of 2 hours time, to allocate 1 hour time to the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Mr. Mohamed Ameen and to allocate the remaining 1 hour time for the Parliament Members in accordance to the Article 110 (b) of the Standing Order of the People’s Majlis. This motion was seconded by Isdhoo Constituency Member Ismail Shafeeu and was passed unanimously by the members present and voting in the committee.
