Summary
In today’s meeting, Committee reviewed the issue sent from Judicial Service commission on dismissal of two supreme court judges, Uz. Mahaz Ali Zahir and Dr. Azmiralda Zahir (under article 154 (b) of Constitution.
Committee decided to give more time to the members of the committee to review the documents sent from Judicial Service commission before making a decision on this issue. This was proposed by Faresmathoda MP Ashraf Rasheed and seconded by North Feydhoo MP Ismail Nizar. This proposal was passed with the majority of members who voted.
