Committee Meeting - People's Majlis of Maldives

Summary

In Today's meeting, the committee interviewed candidates nominated by the President to appoint as a member of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission in accordance with Article 223 (b) of the Standing Order of the Parliament.

Thereafter, the members of the Committee awarded marks as they saw fit, as per ‘the criteria to be assessed in awarding marks, set by the General-Purpose Committee in accordance with Article 223 (c) of the Standing Order of the Parliament.

Since the Majlis Secretariate was informed over the phone that Ms. Fathimath Zaima and Mr. Ahmed Zahir would not be able to attend the interview, it was decided to interview all the other candidates on the list except for them.
