Summary

In today's meeting, the committee reviewed the issue sent by the President regarding the appointment of the ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ms. Iruthisham Adam, H. Orchid, as the non-resident ambassador to Ireland, and the issue sent by the President regarding the appointment of the ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union, Ms. Geela Ali, M. GeelaVilla, as the non-resident ambassador to Ukraine.

Vaikaradhoo Constituency Member Hussain Ziyad proposed to finalize both issues promptly. This was seconded by Guraidhoo Constituency Member Hanaan Mohamed Rasheed.

Thus, South Fuvahmulah Constituency Member Ibrahim Hussain proposed to appoint the ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ms. Iruthisham Adam, H. Orchid, as the non-resident ambassador to Ireland, and to appoint the ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union, Ms. Geela Ali, M. GeelaVilla, as the non-resident ambassador to Ukraine. It was seconded by Kendhikulhudhoo Constituency Member Mohamed Afoo Hamid. The proposal was passed unanimously by the members present.
