Summary
In today’s meeting, the Committee members first reviewed the petition submitted by the civil employees of Maldives Correctional Service. Following the discussions, Madaveli Constituency Member Mohamed Shameez proposed to meet with officials from the Ministry of Finance and Planning to further investigate the issues highlighted in the petition. This proposal was seconded by Hinnavaru Constituency Member, Mohamed Abdul Rahman.
The proposal was unanimously passed by the members present at the meeting.
Then, the committee proceeded to review the Petition for negligence in receiving statutory benefits for children with disabilities. Following discussions among the members concerning the petition, Madaveli Constituency Member, Mohamed Shameez, proposed to meet with officials from the Ministry of Education in relation to this petition. This proposal was seconded by Komandoo Constituency Member, Mohamed Ibrahim.
The proposal was unanimously passed by the members present at the meeting.
