Summary
In today’s meeting, the Committee’s agenda was to meet with Uza. Aishath Azima Shakoor, following a request made by her regarding the Resolution to seek the views of Members of the Parliament on the amendments to the Decentralization Act and the challenges faced in its implementation. The meeting began with the Committee Chair opening the floor to determine the duration of the meeting. Vilifushi Constituency Member Hassan Waheed proposed setting the time to 45 (forty-five) minutes. This was seconded by Kolamaafushi Constituency Member Ibrahim Didi.
The proposal was passed unanimously by the members present.
The Committee then met Uza. Aishath Azima Shakoor where she shared research on the Decentralization system.
