In this meeting committee discussed about deadline for completion of the review of the Maldives Intellectual Property Office Bill and the Trademark Bill and how to proceed with the review on these bills. In this regard, Hoarafushi constituency member Ali Moosa proposed to set 10th August 2025 as a deadline to complete the review of the bill and to open for public comments and written comments from relevant stakeholders till 22nd July 2025 and it was seconded by Kendhikulhudhoo Constituency member Mohamed Afoo Hamid.
