Summary
In today’s meeting, the process of electing the Chair of the committee was carried out as the post of Committee Chair was vacant following the appointment of Ihavandhoo Constituency Member Ahmed Naseer in place of Baarashu Constituency Member Ibrahim Shujau.
At the start, this meeting was chaired by South Fuvahmulah Constituency Member Ibrahim Hussain. When the floor was opened, Faresmaathodaa Constituency Member Ashraf Rasheed proposed the name of South Feydhoo Constituency Member Ibrahim Didi as the Chair of the committee. This proposal was seconded by Kinbidhoo Constituency Member Ali Ashrag and was unanimously passed by the members who attended the vote.
