Summary
Firstly, in today’s meeting, the committee considered the motion by the Speaker of the Parliament to amend Chapter 51 of the Standing Order of Parliament in accordance with Article 272 (c) of the Standing Order of Parliament.
Isdhoo Constituency Member Ismail Shafeeu proposed to amend Chapter 51 of the Standing Order of Parliament with all the amendments made to the entire chapter. This was seconded by South Henveyru Constituency Member Hussain Imran Latheef, and the proposal was passed by unanimous vote of the members present and voting.
