-In today’s meeting, committee discussed on the Maldives Media and Broadcasting Regulation Bill.  Abdullah Shareef proposed that the committee discuss the comments on this bill in a closed-door meeting. It was seconded by Fuvahmulah constituency member Ibrahim Hussain.

The proposal was passed by the majority members present and voting in the committee, to hold today's meeting continued as a confidential meeting.
