Summary
First the committee discussed the issue regarding the matter submitted to identify the reasons and obstacles for government agencies not participating in "OneGov" network, while the platform was introduced in 2023 to provide government services under a unified network. Ihavandhoo constituency member Ahmed Naseer proposed to share the information received from Tradenet Maldives Corporation Limited regarding this issue with North Galholhu constituency member Mohamed Ibrahim. This proposal was seconded by Thoddoo constituency member Hussain Sameer and passed unanimously.
Secondly Fuvahmulah constituency member Ibrahim Hussain proposed to share the information received from relevant authorities with North Galholhu constituency member Mohamed Ibrahim regarding the establishment of a system to bill tenants directly for utilities instead of billing property owners. This was seconded by Ihavandhoo constituency member Ahmed Naseer and passed unanimously.
Lastly, Maavashu constituency member Ahmed Shakir proposed to obtain detailed information about salaries and other benefits (take-home pay) received by board members, executive team and senior management team of state-owned enterprises from 2018 onwards. This was seconded by Gamu constituency member Yoosuf Nasheed and passed unanimously.
