Summary
In today’s meeting, committee reviewed the Drug Act amendment bill (Act No. 17/2011).
Then Committee discussed the letter submitted to the committee by Kendhoo Constituency Member Mauroof Zakir regarding delays in the cases submitted to the Employment Tribunal, and also that the work on Industrial Dispute resolution Division under the Employment Tribunal has not yet commence to this date.
Kendhoo Constituency Member Mauroof Zakir postposed to summon the member of Employment Tribunal and the Industrial Dispute resolution division for further information. This proposal was seconded by South Hithadhoo MP Ibrahim Nazil.
