Summary
In today's meeting, the committee discussed the report passed by sub-committee 2 after reviewing the Special Audit Report of POLCO housing project and the report passed by sub-committee 2 after reviewing other corruption issues related to Maldives Police Service. Funadhoo Constituency member Mohamed Mamadooh proposed to conduct the discussions confidentially as per Article 167 of the Standing Order, as the discussion pertains to national security, as specified in Article 46(a) of the Standing Order. The proposal was seconded by Guraidhoo Constituency member Hanan Mohamed Rasheed and passed by majority of the members present.
Hence, the discussions were held confidentially.
