Summary

First on the agenda for this meeting is to set deadline of the “Land Transport Bill”. Then the committee discussed opening “Land Transport Bill” for public commenting and sending letters to relevant stakeholders for their comments. When the floor was opened for members, MP Azim Abdul Azeez of Vilingili Constituency proposed and MP Saudulla Hilmy of North Thinadhoo Constituency seconded to give a duration of 2 weeks for public commenting, and 15th December 2025 as the deadline for getting comments from relevant stakeholders of the bill. The motion was passed unanimously by the members present and voted.
