Summary
In today’s meeting, Committee reviewed the Report sent from the Judicial Service Commission regarding the removal of Judge Uz. Hussain Faiz Rasheed, from the post of Judge in accordance with Article 154(sh) of the constitution. Committee discussed this matter and determined that the investigations were conducted in accordance with Judicial Service Commission Act and that the Commission have followed the procedures. Therefore, Faresmathoda Constituency Member proposed to send the report to the floor for consideration. This was seconded by North Feydhoo Constituency Member Ismail Nizar. This proposal was passed unanimously.
