Summary

In today’s meeting, Committee decided to set the deadline 23 March 2026, for all the pending bills in the Committee.

(This was proposed by Vaikaradhoo Constituency Member Hussain Ziyad and seconded by Faresmaathoda Constituency Member Ashraf Rasheed)

Next Committee discussed the issue regarding delays in the cases submitted to the Employment Tribunal, and also that the work on Industrial Dispute resolution Division under the Employment Tribunal has not yet commence to this date. And since the committee has passed to meet the tribunal and this meeting was postponed upon their request, committee decided to meet them on th 21st of this month.

This was proposed by Kanditheemu Constituency Member Ameen Faisal and seconded by Vilufushi Constituency Member Hassan Waheed.
